The much-anticipated URBAgr’inn DAYS 2025 is around the corner. The event shall be spread across three-days, between 19 May 2025 and 21 May 2025, in Liège, Belgium. The event was organized under the guise of the IIS Wasabi 2.0 project and has the support of Wallonia. The event is focused on the future of urban agriculture. The event aims to explore how innovative farming practices and governance can transform cities, enhance food security, and promote sustainable urban living.

What to expect from URBAgr’inn DAYS?

Attendees will have the opportunity to discover cutting-edge solutions in urban food production, gain insights from experts through conferences and workshops, and build valuable connections with like-minded individuals. Key topics covered shall include resource-smart farming, sustainable profitability, innovative urban agriculture governance, resilient territorial planning, and collaborative ecosystems (photo credits: Wasabi Gembloux).

• Featured speakers: including Eric Duchemin and Jess Haliday on innovative urban agriculture governance, Haissam Jijakli and Dr. Vernoica Arcas Pilz on resource smart farming, Dr. Jan-Eelco Jansma on sustainable profitability, Guillaume Morel-Chevillet on resilient territorial planning, and Marga Vintges will be accompanied by representatives of FOODCITYBOOST’s living labs while covering clustering and living labs as a tool to foster innovation and collaboration.

• Site visits to urban agriculture projects: providing firsthand experience of innovative practices integrating agriculture into urban environments.
